Cleanse → Skin Lock → Scent Trail. Step one (Cleanse): body wash or shower gel to cleanse without stripping moisture. Step two (Skin Lock): body lotion, butter, or oil applied within 3 minutes of showering on damp skin — this seals moisture in the skin. Step three (Scent Trail): body mist or EDP for lasting fragrance. Using all three steps in sequence gives significantly better skin condition and scent longevity than any single product alone.
Body lotion is water-based and lighter — absorbs quickly, good for daily use in humid conditions, and suits normal to slightly dry skin. Body butter is oil-rich and thicker — better for very dry, rough skin (especially elbows, knees, and heels) and for colder, drier climates. In Indian summer: lotion. In air-conditioning or winter: butter. You can also combine — lotion for most of the body, butter on extra-dry areas.
