No post-shower lotion step needed for most skin types.

Apply after cleansing, with the shower still running. Turn the temperature down to lukewarm, apply the in-shower moisturiser to wet skin, leave for 60 seconds, then rinse lightly with cool water. Pat dry gently rather than rubbing — this leaves a thin conditioning film. The whole step adds under 2 minutes to your routine.

For dry skin, yes — in-shower moisturiser significantly reduces but may not completely replace a separate lotion for very dry skin, especially in winter. For normal to slightly dry skin, the in-shower moisturiser alone is typically sufficient. You can always judge by how your skin feels 30 minutes after showering — if it feels tight or dry, add a light lotion on top.

Yes. TLC in-shower moisturisers are formulated without SLS, SLES, and parabens. The rinse-off format also means less cumulative exposure to fragrance and actives compared to leave-on products, which suits reactive skin well. Patch-test first and check the INCI list if your skin is reactive.
