Oud of Love is what happens when the most romantic ingredient in perfumery meets the most complex. Neither compromised.
The opening is warm and floral — rose gives a dewy, classic quality while saffron adds an immediate golden warmth. Jasmine brings an indolic depth that keeps the accord from being simply pretty. Together they create an opening that is romantic without being soft.
The heart is where Oud of Love distinguishes itself. Bulgarian rose and oud together create a combination that has been prized in perfumery for centuries — the rose's complexity amplifies the oud's depth, and the oud gives the rose a staying power it doesn't have alone. Iris adds a powdery, slightly earthy quality that grounds the whole accord.

Rosa Damascena
The Bulgarian rose valley near Kazanlak produces the world's most prized rosa damascena — harvested in May before sunrise, when the dew concentration is highest. The yield is extraordinary — a tonne of petals for a kilogram of absolute. This is the rose we use. Against it, we set oud from the Middle East: the deep, balsamic, ancient wood that has been traded along the Silk Road for millennia. The combination doesn't need embellishment.

Oud — agarwood — is one of the world's most precious raw materials. A resinous, smoky-sweet wood note that takes decades to form. TLC sources its oud accords from a single distillation house in Assam and ages every blend for a minimum of 90 days before bottling.
