Black plum and damask rose at the heart, oud and patchouli underneath, a top note of pink pepper for the snap. Designed for after-dark wear.
This is the only TLC formula I would call “loud” — and it is intentional. Ten months in development. V8.

Soft to medium. The kind of trail noticed when you hug, not when you enter the room. Office-safe. Date-ready. A scent that earns the second sniff.
Why your body will love it
Product details
The scent
Opens with Pink pepper · Bergamot · Cassis bud, settles into Bulgarian rose absolute · Damask rose · Geranium through the heart, and dries down on Patchouli · Oakmoss · Labdanum across hours of close-skin wear.
The format
Wax-and-oil base activated by body heat. Apply to pulse points — inner wrists, behind the ears, base of the throat — for a close-skin trail. Built as part of The Love Co fragrance ritual.
Full INCI list

◆The Scent Trail◆
Three phases. The opening is the first impression. The heart is the second hour. The trail is what stays on the sleeve at 3 am — and on the chair you just left.
A sharp, faceted opening. Pink pepper gives the rose its first crackle of energy — never sweet, always confident.
The heart of Scarlett Love. Two roses layered — Bulgarian for depth, damask for sweetness — anchored by geranium so it never tips into perfume-counter cliché.
The classical chypre base. Smoky patchouli on a mossy floor — the reason this rose lasts more memorable and gets compliments at breakfast.

Fragrance materials
Use this section for the actual note pyramid, formula materials and verified ingredient story for the current product. Keep origin and percentage claims only where they are documented.

Kazanlak · Bulgaria
Rosa Damascena
Petals from the Valley of Roses, harvested at dawn during a six-week window in May. The most expensive rose oil in perfumery — 3,000 kg of petals yields 1 kg of oil. The dense, honeyed heart of Scarlett Love.

Indonesia · Sulawesi
Pogostemon Cablin
Aged patchouli — three years cellared before distillation. Gives Scarlett Love its smoky, earthy backbone and the longevity that lets the rose carry through to midnight.
Yugoslavia · Croatia
Evernia Prunastri
Tree-lichen harvested from oak bark and resinated for nine months. The forest-floor smell that makes Scarlett Love a true chypre — gives the rose its grown-up, after-dark sensibility.
India · Karnataka
Cera Alba · Jojoba
Cold-pressed jojoba blended with raw Karnataka beeswax. Holds the chypre against skin so the rose-patchouli structure plays out across eight hours, not two.
How to wear it
Three actions on damp skin. Two minutes, total. The difference between three hours and twelve. Between a scent and a scent trail.
01
Touch the surface lightly until the balm softens. A small amount is enough for pulse points.
02
Apply to wrists, neck, behind ears or collarbone. Press into skin and let body heat open the scent.
03
Use through the day when you want the scent to return without spraying.
From the perfumer · Scarlett Love Solid Perfume
Scarlett was the one fragrance I designed without restraint. Black plum, dark rose, smoke. No apologies.
Black plum and damask rose at the heart, oud and patchouli underneath, a top note of pink pepper for the snap. Designed for after-dark wear.
This is the only TLC formula I would call “loud” — and it is intentional. Ten months in development. V8.
From the founder · Scarlett Love Solid Perfume
Most TLC scents are restrained. Scarlett is not. When the perfumer asks for the leash off, the founder gets out of the way.
Scarlett is the one product where we approved a higher concentration than category norms. Eighteen per cent fragrance load against a category average of twelve.
The cost is real. The wear is unmistakable. We made the call once and have not revisited it.

Ritualists answering ritualists
Real questions from prospective wearers, answered by the people who already wear the trail. Skin chemistry, layering, the second hour — all of it.
Is this too strong for office wear?
For an Indian office in summer — yes, it's a lot. Wear it for evenings, weddings, or date nights. For office, use the body lotion alone; the chypre is softer in cream format.
How does this compare to a department-store rose EDP?
Closer to a vintage couture chypre than a modern sweet-rose EDP. The oakmoss and patchouli give it grown-up depth — most modern EDPs use synthetic rose accords on a clean musk base, which reads as one-dimensional next to this.
Will it work in winter?
It thrives in winter. Patchouli and oakmoss are cold-weather notes — they open more slowly and trail further on dry, cool skin. This is a fragrance built for Delhi December.
