Massage onto wet body skin in slow circles, then rinse clean. Use two to three times a week, not as a daily cleanser.

How often? I'm sensitive and worry about over-exfoliating.
Normal skin: twice weekly. Sensitive or compromised barrier: once weekly, gentle pressure. Stop if you see redness lasting past 10 minutes — that's a sign of too-frequent use, not the product.
Sugar or salt base? Will it leave a mess in the bathroom?
Sugar base — gentler on the barrier and dissolves cleanly. No residue on tiles, no grit in the drain. Salt scrubs are coarser and worth saving for feet only.
Use before or after the body wash?
Before. Scrub on damp skin → rinse → cleanse with the body wash → lock with lotion. The exfoliation step opens the path for everything that comes after; flipping the order wastes the prep.
