Every product in a Scent Trail is designed around the same fragrance identity, so the routine feels more coherent than a standalone spray.

Lotion on slightly damp skin spreads more evenly and helps humectants and emollients sit comfortably after a shower. Think of it as the anchoring step: body wash leaves the first impression, lotion gives the skin a soft base, and mist or perfume finishes the trail. Applying lotion on dry skin still works, but the ritual feels fuller when it begins after bathing.

Body mist is designed to feel light, fresh, and easy to reapply. On dry skin it reads airy. Over the matching body lotion on slightly damp skin, it feels fuller and more rounded because the fragrance has a softer base. Skin chemistry, weather, fabric, and how generously you apply all change the final trail, so TLC describes mist performance as layering and scent memory rather than a fixed hour promise.

A Scent Trail is TLC's fragrance identity system. Each Scent Trail is a named fragrance world defined by top, heart, and base notes, then expressed across body wash, lotion, mist, perfume, or solid perfume. Instead of relying on one spray, the ritual lets the scent move through the shower, skin, fabric, and pulse points. The result is a softer, more intimate kind of sillage: the fragrance feels built into the routine, not added at the end.

Start with mood and notes. If you prefer fresh and light, explore citrus, aquatic, pear, white floral, and clean musk trails. Yes. Many TLC customers use one Scent Trail for the shower and lotion layer, then finish with another mist or roll-on. The easiest combinations are notes that naturally sit together: floral with musk, vanilla with amber, citrus with clean woods, or rose with oud. If you are combining two intense trails, test lightly at body mist level first so the final scent feels intentional rather than crowded.

Body mist is the light, all-over fragrance format for generous spraying after a shower or before stepping out. Solid perfume is a wax-and-oil format for close pulse-point wear and discreet top-ups. Roll-on is precise, portable, and skin-close. Use mist for body coverage, then use solid perfume or roll-on when you want the scent to sit closer to wrists, neck, or inner elbows.

TLC body-wash and ritual formulas are built around gentler body-care bases, and the product page is the source of truth for each formula's full INCI and free-from claims. If you are avoiding SLS, SLES, parabens, phthalates, or a specific ingredient, check the individual product page before buying because formats can differ across body wash, lotion, mist, oil, perfume, and ACTIVE+ care.

Standard delivery across India takes 3–5 working days from dispatch. Express delivery is available for select cities and takes 1–2 working days. You will receive a tracking link by email once your order is dispatched. Most orders placed on working days before 2pm are dispatched the same day. Delivery to remote pincodes may take up to 7 working days — the estimated date is shown at checkout for your pincode.

Yes — free standard delivery on all orders above ₹499. Orders below ₹499 carry a flat shipping fee applied at checkout. Express delivery carries an additional charge regardless of order value. The delivery fee and expected delivery date are shown clearly at checkout before you place your order.

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 2 hours of placement, before they enter the dispatch queue. Write to support@theloveco.in immediately with your order number and the change you need. After dispatch, orders cannot be cancelled — but the return policy applies once you receive the product. If you need to add items to an existing order, place a new order and we can combine shipping if it has not yet been dispatched.

Currently, The Love Co. ships within India only. We are working on international delivery — if you are based outside India and would like to be notified when it becomes available, write to us at support@theloveco.in. For urgent international requests, we will do our best to work something out directly.

Sealed, unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Opened products are eligible for a one-time fragrance exchange within 30 days — if the scent is not right for you, we will help you find one that is. To initiate a return or exchange, write to support@theloveco.in with your order number, the product you want to return or exchange, and the reason. We will guide you through the next steps. Products damaged in transit are replaced at no cost — no return required.

We are sorry — this should not happen. Photograph the damage clearly (outer packaging and the product itself) and write to support@theloveco.in with your order number and the photos attached. We will dispatch a replacement at no cost, with no return required. We aim to respond to damage reports within 24 hours on working days and dispatch replacements the same day we confirm the issue.

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, refunds are processed within 5–7 working days. The refund is credited to the original payment method — UPI, card, or net banking. Bank processing times vary; most refunds appear within 3–5 working days after we process them. If you paid by cash on delivery, refunds are issued as store credit or bank transfer — let us know your preference when you initiate the return.

Yes. If you have opened a product and found the fragrance is not right for you, you can exchange it for a different Scent Trail within 30 days of delivery — one exchange per order. This is specifically designed for those who have not smelled a fragrance before purchasing. Write to support@theloveco.in with your order number and tell us which trail you received and which one you would like instead. If you are unsure which trail to exchange for, we are happy to recommend based on what you did or did not like about the original.
