A wash is rinsed away; a lotion remains on the skin and moisturises. Choose by your routine and tolerance rather than assuming that using both kojic products together must give a faster result.

What matters for this concern
Contact time is a meaningful difference, but it does not let us predict comparative results without testing the finished formulas. A wash may fit someone who wants a simple shower step. A lotion may fit someone whose uneven-looking areas also need moisture. Neither format removes the need to address irritation or sun exposure.
How to choose your next step
If choosing the TLC lotion, remember that it also contains glycolic and lactic acids. Start with a gentle non-acid cleanser and assess comfort before adding another active. If the main problem is dryness without uneven tone, a straightforward moisturiser may be a better fit. Choose one clear job for each step instead of collecting overlapping ingredients.
Where Kojic Acid Brightening Body Lotion fits
View Kojic Acid Brightening Body Lotion for the current pack, full product details and directions. The ingredient information below comes from this specific product listing; it is not a clinical trial result.
- Kojic acid
- 5% vitamin C (sodium ascorbyl phosphate)
- 5% niacinamide
- SPF 50 UV filters
- Glycolic and lactic acids
- Shea butter, vitamin E and sodium hyaluronate

Use the product as directed
Apply generously to clean, dry skin and massage gently until absorbed. Use daily. Reapply before sun exposure, and every 2 hours on long days outdoors. It contains AHAs, so don't layer another exfoliating acid on the same area.
When to pause or choose another approach
For external use only. Keep away from the eyes and face. Don't apply to broken, sunburnt or irritated skin, or right after shaving. Stop if redness, stinging or itching persists. Store below 30°C; do not freeze. Contains fragrance.
Frequently asked questions
Is brightening the same as bleaching?
The goal here is care for uneven-looking tone and texture, not changing your natural complexion.
Can I skip sunscreen because I use a brightening product?
No. Protect exposed skin with a suitable sunscreen and follow its application directions. A cleanser does not provide sun protection.
