Body Care After Laser Hair Removal: What to Use and What to Avoid
After a laser session, skin needs gentle barrier support and zero irritation. Get this right and the results last longer.
First 48 Hours
No hot water. No exfoliation. No actives (AHA, BHA, retinol, vitamin C). No fragrance-heavy lotion.
Cool aloe vera or fragrance-free ceramide lotion only. Loose cotton clothing.
Days 3–7
Continue gentle care. Pat dry — do not rub. Re-introduce regular lotion (not actives) after day 5 if no irritation.
Sun Protection
Skin is photo-sensitive for 4 weeks post-laser. SPF 50 on treated areas if exposed to sun. Pigmentation triggers easily during this window.
Avoid the beach / pool for 2 weeks.
Long Term
Niacinamide body lotion daily on treated zones — fades any post-laser pigmentation and supports the smoother, hair-reduced skin.
Shop the body lotion collection.
